Literacy Specialists are available to serve area schools in academic improvement through reading, writing, listening, speaking, and language. This includes professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals, support for principals and curriculum coordinators, classroom demonstrations, literacy coaching support and other services that schools need to meet and exceed state and national standards in literacy.
