14 districts participated on November 30, 2011 at Ozarka College at the cooperative's annual jr high quiz bowl.  Mountain Home School District took first place, followed by Highland School District in 2nd place.  Moutain View was third and fourth place went to Cedar Ridge.  Johnny Carter of Highland High School served as head moderator.  Personnel from the cooperative served as judges and in other capacities as well. 

We are looking forward to our annual Jr High Quiz Bowl coming up on November 30, 2011 at Ozarka College.  The first match will start at 8:30.  Schools can begin to check-in at the registration desk at 8:00 a.m.   The final match is scheduled to played by 3:15 p.m.    

  This past week GT Programs in the Northcentral Arkansas Education Cooperative were successully monitored by the ADE.  The school's GT Programs monitored were Mountain View, Calico Rock, Norfork, ICC and Melbourne.  Jill Clogston, Gifted Education Specialist, along with Bob Nichols from the Arkansas Department of Education spent a half-day in each of these (5) districts, visiting with the GT Coordinator, building administrators, students, and...
